Van Diamond is On the Air

We travel to 1933’s LA in this month's Balderdash Academy's On the Air with Van Diamond: Private Dick. The totally real and in no way recently written noir mystery was performed live back in 1933 by the Dasher’s Radio Theater on the Air Players at the old DSH Radio Studio in Balderdash Village. Hear it here for the first time since it was recorded live.

If you're in trouble and can afford $20 a day plus expenses, then Van Diamond is here to help. In this story, a widow seeks Van's help after her husband mysteriously died after being shot with an arrow on the set of the new Robinhood picture at Paramore Studios. The police won't investigate saying it was an accident. Van Diamond has a hunch that it was a lot more.

Listener discretion is advised due to adult themes and a single joke in the tagline.
