Cody had a great night! His oxygen levels were able to be weaned from 100% oxygen to his goal of 60%. The plan was for the Nitric Oxide to come off in the morning.

When I called this morning Cody was with a new to us Nurse. She was very kind and said she eventually got some smiles from Cody, but only after he sized her up with the side eye first. It's been so long. I almost forgot about the side-eye!! She said they hadn't rounded yet but would update me when I got in.

The walkin today was Beautiful!! It was already near 50 and the sun was out. I forgot my jacket at the apartment, but I didn't need more than my hoodie. I could get used to Fool's Spring!

Cody was asleep when I got in and slept nearly all day. His Nitric had been shut off shortly before I arrived and his oxygen levels were hovering in the 80s. I was concerned but tried to stay calm. I know it takes a little bit of time for his body to adjust and his coloration was still nice and pink, even his lips. Over time Cody came back up to the 90s, but his heart rate was elevated all day. He also had another low-grade fever all day, but today it crept up to 101 instead of lingering at 100. It came down with Tylenol and a cool cloth, but I don't love what's happening.

Cody had an echo at about 3:30 or 4:00 to check his heart after coming off Nitric. Unfortunately, it showed the pressure in the right side of his heart was still elevated, so they put him back on Nitric. On a low dose. His NP talked to his Specialists and everyone agreed it was best to not rock the boat before cath.

There was talk of going to the cath lab tomorrow, but as of 10:20 pm I haven't heard if that is or is not going to happen. Now that his temp is slightly elevated again, it may not.

I'm bummed we didn't get to video chat with Daddy tonight. Cody was awake for a bit during the day and when he was awake this evening it was during cares.

I stayed with Cody until around 9:30 and then left. He needed his sleep.

Thank you to Everyone who is continuing to shower Cody with Love! He received three more cards and another gift tonight! This is on top of everything that was already sent to him! We are so humbled by your kindness and Love for our Little Coco.

Thank You for your Prayers and Support for Cody. We are Beyond Blessed to have you in our Village.

Love Always

Ben, Taryn, and Cody
